Melissa Johanning

 I am passionate about exploring. From exploring in nature to new ways of being creative, you can usually catch me planning my next adventure in my downtime.


As a Massage Therapist, I tend to be hyper-aware of the aches and pains in my body, especially the ones I take on from clients. Floating allows me to feel weightless, almost disconnected from my physical body. I also have a very active mind. When I float, the thoughts that are constantly racing, slow down and become more clear. It’s been helpful, not only with dealing with anxiety and depression, but with fueling creativity during times that I have felt stuck.


In the future, I’d love to take a Thai Massage class in Thailand.
