Stephen Curry goes Floating

Hey everyone! Kevin here from FLOAT STL. We wanted to share with you some of the latest info coming out about professional athletes using floating to improve performance and recovery time.

This story came out a few months ago regarding Steph Curry and Harrison Barnes floating regularly. They talk about how their float practice helps them to create a space where they are able to rest, find some solitude, and recover from their extraordinary physical activities.

Now if you are not familiar with Steph Curry, he is considered by many to be the greatest and most accurate shooter in NBA history. Curry was named the NBA most valuable player for the 2014-15 Season and led the Warriors to their first championship since 1975. In the 2015-16 Season he was the first player in NBA history to be elected MVP by a unanimous vote. That same year the Warriors broke the record for the most wins in an NBA Season.

Check out this video below of Curry.

SUMMARY

Curry says, “Yeah, I kind of see where my mind goes because usually that’s something I’ve been thinking about, or a decision I might need to make in my life. It’s refreshing to process what I thought about over an hour of floating, which are probably the most important things that are going on right now in your life. I have a very clear head when it’s done, and it shows in the days after floating. It gives me a nice boost of focus and perspective. The more I do it, the more I get from it.”

So if you are ready to up your game, come float with us!
